relax...it's summer...

just to be outdoors from dawn to dusk...is the greatest and simplest pleasure...flowers and still more flowers as the garden unfolds and relaxes into summeryness...planting and weeding...new seeds and new plants...good dark rich earth...the blissful feeling of sun and air on bare skin...

slow...

take the time to sit and read...or lie in the warm grass and watch the swallows twisting in the blue blue sky...

if I don't answer the phone or get back to your email it's because I'm not in the house...

have a wonderful summery week...

Lovely pictures that just epitomise summer, Emma! Granny Chic is my best book of all time I think, and I'll have to check the other one out too.

It's looking a little cloudy here in South Cumbria at the moment, but hopefully the sun will shine through soon!

Have a lovely week

You are right being in the garden is the best place to be in the summer. Tonight here it looks as if it is about to rain so it gives me sometime to catch up on blogs.
What do you think of that cookery book. I saw a few recipes from it that looked quite good.
